Inspired by feminine sensuality, I wanted to create a garment that exaggerated the woman’s body. I started my research by looking into the way that influential women who were viewed as sensual beings were portrayed. I was able to take bits of people, art, pop culture moments, and garments to lead me to create.

The project began with taking a stroll through my surroundings to find naturally occurring motifs that inspired me. I photographed these scenes and collaged them in my sketch book to draw inspiration from. After collaging the images, I found that repetitive scenes and organic shapes seemed to draw my attention. I then began sketching these shapes, applying them to croquis, making abstract silhouettes.
